Naples/ Ft. Myers Challenge
This weekend, Tom McCune and I were invited to represent Naples’ 65-year-olds in this 30th annual two-city, Naples-Ft. Myers Challenge, which was played all day Saturday at Pelican Marsh in Naples. Sunday morning saw us starting the day tied with St. Pete at two wins and one loss; but with the slight edge in individual matches won. So they played Jacksonville first – and beat them two courts out of three. Which meant that we would play Jacksonville second and have to beat them by at least the same score.
