January Tournaments

santaHoHoHo. The “season” is upon us. Not only the Holiday Season, but also the great Florida Super Senior Grand Prix season, which starts in just over one week – and the first DEADLINE is rapidly approaching.

Colonial Deadline

The first tournament in the series of senior events is at the Colonial Country Club in Ft. Myers and their signup deadline is Sunday night, Dec. 27th @ 10 PM. And don’t forget to get your doubles partner signed up too.

Doubles Dance Card

My hope/goal/wish is to be able to play both singles and doubles in the first SIX of the west coast tournaments! Here is the lineup of who I will be paired with:

• The 1st and 4th tournaments with Dartmouth’s Chuck Kinyon (and then, for some strange reason, he chooses to play the middle two with Don Long!)
• The 2nd and 3rd with Cape Cod veteran Ted Underwood
• Then a week of rest and recuperation
• And then (if I am still walking) I am honored to play the first two Sarasota-area tournaments with Hank Irvine

  1. Looking forward to another great year & seeing everyone. I have only missed 2 tournaments since 2009 & my goal is to continue playing them until I’m 100.
