Tournament Survey Results

FSS logoThe results of the tournament survey are done; and the clear “winner” is the fine event hosted at the World Tennis Club. A full 100% of the respondents felt it was either “very good” or “great.” Details of the ratings of all four and a summary of the player’s comments follow…

Colonial Country Club
• Overall rating:
o 4% 1- should replace
o 4% 2 – would not recommend until improvements made,
o 33% 3 – recommend, good but would like some improvements,
o 42% 4 – recommend, very good and

o 16% 5 – recommend highly, great tournament
• Comments: Jeff tries to do everything himself; but could really use help. And they need more courts.

World Tennis Club

o 0% 1- should replace
o 20% 2 – would not recommend until improvements made,
o 30% 3 – recommend, good but would like some improvements,

• Comments: Granted, the rain played havoc with the schedule; but the basic player communication/scheduling process needed improvement and was only made worse by the weather. Need better player processing area and signage.

Thanks to all who responded, all who played, and – especially – to the staffs and volunteers who hosted us at the four venues. It is the highlight of many tennis players years to come to the sunny south and play in the Florida Super Senior Grand Prix.

Next Week

DeDe and I will be heading north to Sarasota to play in my fifth (and last??) tournament of the season at the Palm Aire Country Club. With several of the Big Boys not playing this one, I am seeded fourth in singles (not playing doubles).

The link to the tournament is HERE.

And, if you want to check out the remaining tournaments on both the west and east coast of Florida for the balance of the Florida Super Senior Grand Prix, please go to Larry Turville’s website HERE.

If you are not on my “new posting alert email list” and want to be (I promise, no other uses of your email address!), just drop me a note at George@seniortennisandfitness.com

  1. This survey is an excellent tool for future improvements. I hope that the management and volunteers from these clubs actually see this survey and and use it in a positive way to make improvements for the players and the fans starting in 2015.

Bob – each tournament director will be receiving a document with every reply (anonymous) and all the individual comments. Thanks, george
